The Poor Clares at Arkley, near Barnet, hosted an enjoyable and thought-provoking study day yesterday on the liturgies of the Easter Triduum. Brs Richard and Stefan, together with a visiting Dutch seminarian, travelled down from Cambridge to hear excellent talks from Peter McGrail (on the renewal of baptismal promises), Sr Francisca aka Dr Patricia Rumsey (on the foot washing and on what makes for a proper celebration on Good Friday), and Mgr Kevin McGinnell (on Holy Saturday and the Vigil). Our thanks to them all for a great day.
