Fr Richard Ounsworth came through last week to give two talks on Sacred Scripture: on Old Testament prophecy, and its culmination in the preaching of Jesus Christ. The novices from Greenwich, Sisters Lynn and Lucia, together with their Novice Mistress, Sr Bernadette, travelled over to join us for the day – our last class together before their placements in Africa. As always, there was no opportunity to nod off as Fr Richard opened up the Scriptures and guided us through the maze of Biblical scholarship, good and not so good, of recent decades.
