The Von Hügel Institute for Critical Catholic hosted Cardinal Luis Tagle, who reflected on the association between Catholicism and secular universities. The eloquent speaker commented on the unity shared between both institutes found in a common pursuit of knowledge, truth and service. His eminence encouraged honesty in dialogue reflecting on the nature of communication and truth; what can we learn from current approaches to communication?, how do we share truth without employing deceptive tactics of speech?, what could the universities learn from our catholic tradition?
