We all know that Christmas will be different this year. Having consulted with our congregation, this is what we’ve got planned for a safe and joyful celebration. We look forward to welcoming you! Keeping you all in prayer meantime.

 

Christmas Eve, Thursday 24th December

7.30 am Mass of Christmas Eve (also broadcast on Radio Maria England)

 

5 pm Vigil Mass of Christmas – cloister/garden, with carols afterwards outdoors. We recommend you bring a torch (as well as warm clothes!)

 

11 pm Midnight Mass (without Matins) – cloister/garden, with carols afterwards outdoors. We recommend you bring a torch (as well as warm clothes!)

 

Also on Christmas Eve, NOT PUBLIC but broadcast on Radio Maria England:

Lauds (Morning Prayer): 7 am

First Vespers of Christmas (Evening Prayer): 6.30 pm

 

Christmas Day, Friday 25th December

8.15 am Mass – Upper Chapel (also broadcast on Radio Maria England). Maximum 30 persons – if you’re a regular, do bring your Christmas guests, but if you’re not a regular, can we ask you to attend one of the other Masses if at all possible?

 

9.15 am Mass (Extraordinary Form) – cloister/garden. Missa cantata with schola

 

11 am  Mass – cloister/garden, with carols afterwards outdoors

 

NO EVENING MASS

 

Also on Christmas Day, NOT PUBLIC but broadcast on Radio Maria England:

Lauds (Morning Prayer): 7.45 am

Solemn Vespers (Evening Prayer): 7 pm

 

After Christmas Day (Cambridge enters Tier 4 but communal worship is able to continue):

 

St. Stephen’s Day (Boxing Day), Saturday 26th December

Mass 9.30 (also broadcast on Radio Maria England)

 

Broadcast on Radio Maria England) only:

Lauds (Morning Prayer): 9 am

Vespers (Evening Prayer): 6.30 pm

 

Sunday after Christmas (Feast of the Holy Family), 27th December

8.15 am Mass – Upper Chapel (maximum 30 persons), also broadcast on Radio Maria England

9.15 am Mass (Extraordinary Form) – cloister/garden

11 am  Mass – cloister/garden

6 pm Mass – cloister

 

Broadcast on Radio Maria England only:

Lauds (Morning Prayer): 7.45 am

Vespers (Evening Prayer): 7 pm

 

Monday 28th December to Saturday 2nd January inclusive

Mass 9.30 every day (NOT 7.30), also broadcast on Radio Maria England

 

Broadcast on Radio Maria England) only:

Lauds (Morning Prayer): 9 am

Vespers (Evening Prayer): 6.30 pm
