Home > Uncategorized > NEW COVID RESTRICTIONS – WORSHIP AS NORMAL

A few of our community have asked about the impact on Mass of the Government’s restriction to socialising with just groups of just 6 from Monday 14th September. This is just to reassure you that Masses on Sundays and weekdays continue as normal (with the existing Covid restrictions) – the government has made it clear that these rules do NOT apply to “services and communal prayer” (or other charitable activities). However, “individual groups of more than one household or support bubble must not exceed 6 people” – so it is important that we observe social distancing at Mass (more information here, especially section 3.10). But thank God that we can continue to gather for Mass, especially in a time of such need. Let’s keep our prayers up for the whole world at this time.
